Motion

 What is motion?

In this article we will read about Motion (speed). In which we will read what is called speed? (What is Motion ), definition of motion, straight line , kinematics, position of an object etc.

What is speed?

Whenever an object changes its position or moves from one place to another, it is said that the object is in motion.

Some examples of this are as follows.

like leaves falling from a tree

walk of any animal

Movement of a vehicle etc.

Everything in the universe is in a state of motion whether it is the Sun or the Earth.

Definition of Motion

The change in place of any object with time is called motion or if there is a change in position of any object with the passage of time, then it is said that the object is in a state of motion or has undergone motion.

straight line motion

If an object is moving along a straight line, then it is said to be in straight line motion of that object. Straight line motion is also called a linear motion. For example, a cyclist is moving on a straight road.

Net dynamics

In this type of motion, the motion of the object is studied without paying attention to the causes of its motion. Four factors are necessary for the motion of any object.

These four factors are position of the object, time, length of the path and displacement of the object.

Item condition

To find the position of a moving object, a set of reference points and axes are required. Right-angled coordinates are chosen to find the position of a moving object. It consists of three axes namely x, y and z axes. These three axes are perpendicular to each other and the point of intersection is called the origin. This origin is denoted by o.

speed and rest state

When an object changes its position along its axis with time, then the object is said to be in motion. And when there is no change in the position of the object along its axis, then that object is said to be at rest.

path length and distance

The distance traveled by any object is called path length.

displacement

The change in the distance of any object is called displacement.

The distance and displacement of any object can be different.

vector and edar quantity

Such zodiac signs which have both direction and magnitude are called vector zodiac signs and such zodiac signs which have only magnitude and not direction are called vector zodiac signs.
